I'm an artist at one of the worlds leading universities located in Scotland. I teach and help to guide students towards being successful within the games and digital industry.
In the past I have been part of one of the leading VFX post production houses in the country and helped to bring to fruition jobs for some of the biggest clients in the advertising industry. I have also been a part of one of the most successful simulation games franchises as an environment artist.
I am passionate about bringing 3D assets to life through a good understanding of both the subject matter and the clients needs. Being an environment artist I have evolved my own skill set to an industry standard for myself, focused on the development of high standard game assets within a digital workflows.
In addition to my professional work I try to further my skill set towards prop and environment development by undertaking personal projects in my spare time. These projects have proved invaluable in helping me greater understand the potential of the software I use and other aspects that I don't always get the opportunity to explore in my daily brief.
